Where do you want to explore?
Tour Description
Do you like seeing wild animals, such as the endangered Humboldt penguin and huge sea lion colonies? The Ballestas Islands tour guarantees you the opportunity to view a diverse set of seabirds and animals in their native habitat on small rocky islands near the coast of Pisco, Peru. During this two hour boat tour, you will be transported to another world of stone arches, rushing waves, and squaking birds. Among the 150 species of animals that call these islands 'home' are the incan tern, the pelican, the fur seal, the humboldt penguin, cormorants, terns, and boobies.

Our professional english-speaking tour guides will also point out the mysterious geoglyph known as the Candelabra, which is a mysterious cactus-shaped line that was carved into the face of the cliffs over 800 years ago. Like the Nazca Lines, its purpose remains unclear to this day.

Tour Description
Believe it or not, Peru's coast has a desert filled with gigantic sand dunes that look like they are
in the Sahara Desert in Africa. Located near the city of Ica, a few hours north of Nazca, these
dunes prove what a remarkable and diverse place that Peru really is. The best way to explore this
desert - and appreciate the surreal beauty of the sand dunes - is to take a dune buggy tour
into the sand dunes.
On this adventure tour, you can choose between a fast and thrilling "rollercoaster ride"
through the dunes on a high speed dune buggy, or a slow and relaxing ride that is perfect for
anyone who would rather their outings be relaxing than adrenaline-pumping.
Either way, you can take a chance to try the fun sport of sandboarding - sliding down the
sand dunes on a board, like snowboarding but without the cold snow and hot chocolate!

Tour Description
For over 400 years, Spanish conquistadors and their descendents have been creating sweet
red wines and distilling a potent liquor called Pisco. They do this in a number of wineries
located in the fertile valleys near the town of Ica. On the outskirts of the desert, the farmers
and vintners have made these wineries bloom with several types of aromatic and sweet
grapes.
During this tour, you will visit two wineries: one winery is a large, industrial winery
that uses modern techniques to create some of the highest-quality wines and pisco in Peru.
The other winery is a small, family-run winery where they will demonstrate ancient techniques
for fermenting and distilling the pisco. For example, slaves would crush the grapes beneath
bare feet and then place the liquid to ferment in clay bottles called 'botijas.'
Don't fear; this tour is not complete without a tasting opportunity at both wineries!

The city tour of Ica offers a relaxing and unhurried opportunity to view several sites
of interest in the Ica area. First of the itinerary is the desert oasis Huacachina, a real
oasis with a lagoon and palm trees, surrounded by gigantic sand dunes. After learning
the modern history of the lagoon, and the legend of its mermaid, we will head to the
Plaza de Armas - the main plaza in Ica. Almost every city in South America has a
central plaza as it was a favorite architectural model of the Europeans.
Finally, we will visit the small but complete museum known as the Regional
Museum of Ica, where we can find a number of hand-carved ceramics in the shape
of humans and animals, and some mummies that have been preserved impressively
by the heat and lack of humidity in the desert.

Tour Description
Although we specialize in tours to the southern coast of Peru, but over the last 6 years, hundreds of our
clients have relied on our expertise in providing high-quality tours to other regions of Peru as well.
Some of the highlights we recommend are:

Tours to Machu Picchu by train - when we create an all-inclusive tour to Machu Picchu for you,
we will take care of all the planning and logistics so that you can enjoy an unforgettable visit
to this astonishing and breathtaking mountain complex. We can pick you up at your hotel in Cuzco,
transport you to the train station in Ollantaytambo, provide train tickets (including the luxurious
Hiram Bingham train), and professional english-speaking guides at Machu Picchu.

Treks to Machu Picchu - some say that you cannot truly appreciate the splendor of Machu Picchu
unless you arrive there as the first explorers did: by walking along the winding Incan stone pathways
and hiking through lush cloud forests filled with orchids and butterflies. We are proud to offer
a wide range of trekking options, including the world-famous Inca Trail. And for those travelers
who wish to hike down the path less travelled, there are some excellent alternative treks such
as the 5 Day Salkantay Trek which passes beneath the skirts of the sacred mountain of Salkantay.

The Sacred Valley of the Incas - Outside of Machu Picchu, the most beautiful and important Incan
ruins in Peru are located in the Sacred Valley of the Incas. This fertile valley - hundreds of meters
lower than Cusco - is home to the mighty Incan fortress of Ollantaytambo and the sacred
storehouses at Pisaq. The Sacred Valley tour is a full-day tour that will give you a chance to learn
about Incan culture the best way possible - by visiting the Incan sites with a local guide.

Adventure Tours - some of the 2 million people who visit Peru every year are not satisfiedy by
the exquisite landscapes, fascinating history, and mysterious culture of the Peruvian Andes region.
These travelers crave the feeling of adrenaline in their veins. For these adventure travelers, there
are many activities in Cusco that will appeal. We can provide information on bungee jumping,
paragliding, zip lines, white water rafting and other options.

Mystical Tourism - For those seekers and travelers who long for a transformative journey, rather
than just a vacation, we offer an authentic opportunity to try the powerful hallucinogenic
plants of Ayahuasca and San Pedro cactus in a safe and supportive environment. In Peru these plants
have been used for over 5,000 years because they safely but profoundly affect the way we perceive
our lives, our place in the world, our reality, and our own sense of self. A San Pedro ceremony,
or an Ayahuasca ceremony, can provide a deeply personal and powerful look into your own mind.
