COMPANY POLICIES AND PAYMENT PROCEDURES

General

NazcaFlights.com (hereafter referred to as the "agency") is a tour agency located in Ica, Peru, that provides tours, flights, transportation, and consulting services, for tourists and travelers in Peru. The company's office is located on Avenida Perotti S/N, Balneario de Huacachina, Ica, Peru. The corporate email address is info@nazcaflights.com .

Payment

I. NazcaFlights.com accepts many forms of payment, including credit and debit cards (VISA, Mastercard, American Express), Paypal, MoneyGram, Western Union, Xoom, Wire transfer, and deposits into our bank account. NazcaFlights.com charges a payment processing fee to receive money, to cover the costs we are charged to process a client's payment. These fees are explained to the client before their purchase, and usually amount to a 3% fee.

II. Unless otherwise stated, payments are to be made in United States dollars (USD). Entrance fees should be paid in cash, in Peruvian soles, at the entrance to each tour.

III. Payments must be made in advance, unless a client is informed otherwise by a tour agent.

Force Majeur, Unforeseen Events, and "Acts of God" Policy

Like all tour agencies, tours offered by NazcaFlights.com may be subject to unforeseen and unforeseeable events, including but not limited to political protests, wars, terrorism, strikes, road closures, landslides, mudslides, inclement weather, earthquakes, floods, natural disasters and many other "acts of god."

In the event of a force majeure event, NazcaFlights.com reserves the right to, without notice, cancel, terminate, divert, postpone or delay any tour without liability except to issue a refund. The refund will be made in the original form of payment.

In the event that a client receives any form of transportation (private or public) to a tour, and the tour is cancelled due to a force majeure event, the tour agency will not refund the cost of the transportation. For example, if a client has purchased private transportation to Nazca, but a weather-related event causes his flight to be cancelled, the client will receive full compensation for the cost of the flight, but no reimbursement will occur for the private transportation.

Tickets

NazcaFlights.com provides digital tour vouchers for all tours that cost in excess of $300 USD, or upon request by a client. These tour vouchers contain a confirmation of payment, full client instructions, and a summary of the payment made by clients. These vouchers are for client reference only, and do not need to be presented at the start of a tour.

For tours or flights operated by a third party that require a ticket, clients will be informed by the agency where, when and how to receive their ticket.

Cancellation Policies and Refunds

Clients may cancel their tours and receive a refund until one month before their scheduled tour date. Refunds will be issued via the same source that the client paid. The tour agency will retain an administrative fee of $35 USD per person for most tours.

Upon the discretion of the agency, clients may sometimes be able to cancel their tours and receive a refund during the month proceeding their tour. Clients who wish to cancel a tour and receive a refund should contain the agency to inquire as to the feasability of receiving a refund. The agency retains the right to decline to reimburse clients during this period.

Clients who fail to show up for a tour, without informing the agency in advance, are always classified as 'no-show' and are not entitled to a refund.

Sister Agency

The Agency operates a website at www.huacachina.com that offers services for the Huacachina and Ica areas of Peru. On that website, the agency refers to itself as Huacachina.com Tours. For all intents and purposes, Huacachina.com Tours is the same entity as NazcaFlights.com.

Passports

Clients are required to bring their original passports (or original DNI cards, in the case of Peruvian nationals) to the following tours: any and all flight over the Nazca Lines from any airport, any charter flight, any commercial flight, and any bus journey.

Excess Weight

Some tours - Nazca Lines flights in particular - have strict weight limits due to the logistical and safety demands of flying light aircraft. If a passenger's weight is in excess of 200 pounds (90 kilograms) he or she may be required to purchase an extra ticket or pay an additional fee. These safety requirements are those of the airline providing the flight.

Travel Agency Commission Policy

When approached by another tour agency who requests that we provide tours, services or transportation for their clients, we sometimes pay commissions for these referrals. The amount of the commission will be explained to the tour agent before the service is rendered.

Travel Accident Policy

NazcaFlights.com does not provide insurance of any kind for its tours, transportation, or services. In the event of an accident, clients agree to hold the agency harmless. Some third party companies - especially airlines - may offer insurance. Clients may contact us to inquire if there is any applicable insurance for the tour they are purchasing.

Adventure Tourism Policy

Some of the tours that are provided by the agency are classified as "adventure tourism" or "adrenaline-generating activities." These tours include but are not limited to surfing, white water rafting, zip lining, dune buggy rides, quad ATV bike rides, bicycle rides, motorcycle rides, bungee jumping, paragliding, etc. Adventure tours are statistically more likely to result in an accident or fatality. Clients assume all risk that may result from the participation in an adventure activity.
