TOUR DESCRIPTION

This premium tour package provides an extraordinary amount of adventure and mystery in just two days. On your first day we'll pick you up at your hotel in the morning and drive along Peru's scenic southern coast, until we arrive at the airport in the coastal city of Pisco. There, you will climb onboard a Cessna Grand Caravan aircraft for an unforgettable flight over the Nazca Lines. From your window seat aboard the aircraft, you will see 12 of the world- famous Nazca Lines.

Next you will enjoy a privately guided tour of the Paracas National Reserve, a national park with beautiful red-sand beaches, dramatic cliffs, and desolate coastal dunes.

The next morning, you will take a boat out to the Ballestas Islands, an unforgettable wildlife sanctuary filled with Humboldt penguins, sea lions, terns, blue footed boobies, and a mysterious symbol carved into a cliff centuries ago, called the Candelabra.

Afterwards, we will transport you back to your hotel in Lima. You will arrive with a smile on your face, the memory cards in your camera full of amazing photos of a genuine adventure in a beautiful part of the world.

An exciting optional tour: One hour south of Pisco there is a desert oasis, surrounded by palm trees and gigantic sand dunes. We'll take a dune buggy tour into the desert to explore the dunes; it is fast and thrilling, like a rollercoaster in the desert sand. Read more about this option below.

TOUR ITINERARY

Your tour will follow the approximate itinerary listed below. The pickup times change every day because of the weather and other factors, so we might need to pick you up earlier or later than this.

FIRST DAY

7:00 AM - 11:00 AM + Private transport from Lima to Paracas
12:00 PM - 1:30 PM + Flight over the Nazca Lines
1:30 PM - 4:00 PM + Paracas National Reserve private tour, eat lunch
Sleep in Paracas

SECOND DAY

7:40 AM + Pickup at your hotel
8:00 AM - 10:00 AM + Ballestas Islands boat tour
10:30 AM - 2:30 PM + Private transport back to Lima, end of tour

HOTEL OPTIONS

This tour package does not include the hotel fees, because our clients often inform us that they prefer to choose their own accommodations. Some travelers like to stay in luxury resorts, while others enjoy cozy bed and breakfast lodges.

Five-Star luxury hotels in Paracas include Doubletree by Hilton Paracas, and Hotel Paracas, both of which are beautiful properties where the service is excellent. Four-star hotels nearby include Aranwa and Hacienda Bahia Paracas. And 3-star hotels include San Augustin Hotel and Hotel Gran Palma

OPTIONAL TOURS

+ After your Nazca Lines flight is over, we can transport you one hour to the south, to the desert oasis of Huacachina. Huacachina is a lagoon in the desert, surrounded by palm trees and sand dunes. It is the home to the dune buggy and sandboarding tour, an extraordinary adventure tour that will transport you to world-class sand dunes like you will find in the Sahara Desert in Africa. At the start of the tour, you will climb into a 4 wheel drive dune buggy driven by a professional driver, and will soon be transported deep into the desert to explore the amazing scenery of the desert. This can be a fast and thrilling experience, or slow and romantic. Either way, the sand dunes in the desert will amaze and awe you with their size and beauty. And if you craving even more adventure, you can try sandboarding down the giant dunes: this is like snowboarding, but on sand instead of snow. PRICE: $35 USD per person

+ Most ancient Incan ruins are located in the mountains, near Cuzco. But there is a unique and fascinating Incan ruin on the coast, called TAMBO COLORADO. Archaeologists believe that the Inca royalty used this site as an administrative and military site, to exert control and power over the coastal region. We can provide a privately guided tour to this small but worthwhile site, about an hour east of Pisco. PRICE: $40 USD per person
