Flying over the Nazca Lines from Nazca’s airport is a popular and affordable way to experience the world-famous geoglyphs. Climb aboard a Cessna 207 aircraft with two pilots and seating for six passengers. Every traveler has a window seat, ensuring excellent views throughout the flight.
The flight lasts approximately 32 minutes and covers many of the most iconic figures, such as the Monkey, Dog, Whale, Tree, Hands, Astronaut, Hummingbird, and Spider. During the flight, the pilots announce each figure in both English and Spanish, making sure that passengers on both sides of the plane can enjoy clear views of every geoglyph.

We’ll pick you up from your hotel in Nazca or the CRUZ DEL SUR bus station. Then we’ll transport you 15 minutes south to Maria Reiche Airport. Here, please pay the airport tax of 77 soles per person, in cash.
Next, show your passport (Peruvians must show their DNI card). The expiration date should be at least 6 months after your arrival to Peru. Then travelers will be weighed for safety reasons, and those who weigh more than 108 kilograms may be required to pay an additional fee of $70 USD so that the airline can fly with one empty seat.
Flights depart from Nazca airport several times per hour between 9:15 AM and 3:00 PM. While you can choose any time, we strongly recommend flying between 9:30 AM and 11:00 AM. Morning flights usually offer the smoothest air and best visibility.
In the late afternoon, flights can still be enjoyable—but solo travelers or small groups (2–3 people) should be aware that afternoon departures may be cancelled or delayed if there aren’t at least 4-5 passengers for the flight.
Travelers who get airsick or motion sickness are encouraged to purchase medication from the pharmacies in Nazca before their flight. Local brands like GRAVOL contain dramamine, and can be purchased locally without a prescription.
After the flight, we’ll return you to your pickup location or we can drop you off at the bus station. Most travelers leave with a lasting sense of wonder—seeing the Nazca Lines is an experience few ever forget.
WEIGHT LIMIT : To protect the safety and comfort of the travelers, there is a very strict weight limit. A passenger that weighs more than 108 kg (238 pounds) will be asked to pay an additional fee of $70 USD. This fee allows the airline to fly with one empty seat, assuring a safe and comfortable flight for everyone aboard. If two travelers are over the limit, they usually can split the cost of the overweight fee.
AGE LIMIT: The minimum age for a passenger on this tour is just 3 months. Infants can safely travel in the arms of their parents. There is no maximum age for healthy travelers
PLACES WE DON’T PICK UP: Some of the hotels in Nazca are located on roads that are not suitable for our vehicles. For these locations, we arrange a taxi service instead. An additional fee of $10 USD per person applies for pickup at Hotel Majoro, Hotel Marcelo, and a few others.
