Experiencing these world-famous geoglyphs from the air is the only way to truly appreciate their mystery and size. Your aircraft has 6 passengers and 2 pilots. Every passenger has a window seat, guaranteeing unobstructed views of the lines below. The flight lasts approximately 32 minutes.
During the flight, the pilots announce the names of each geoglyph in both English and Spanish, and they maneuver the plane so passengers on both sides can see every figure clearly. You’ll view 14 of the most iconic Nazca Lines, including the Monkey, Dog, Whale, Tree, Hands, “Astronaut,” Hummingbird, Spider, and more.
WHAT TIME SHOULD I FLY?
Flights depart from Nazca Airport between 9:15 AM and 3:00 PM. Morning flights (9:30–11:00 AM) usually offer the best conditions: clearer skies, less turbulence, and fewer delays.
Afternoon flights depend on passenger demand, so solo travelers or very small groups may face long waits. Booking in advance helps avoid problems.
If you are prone to motion sickness, consider taking over-the-counter medication before flying (a local brand that contains dramamine is called Gravol).
WEIGHT LIMIT : To protect the safety and comfort of the travelers, passengers that weigh more than 108 kg (238 pounds) will be asked to pay an additional fee of $70 USD. This fee allows the airline to fly with one empty seat, assuring a safe and comfortable flight for everyone aboard. If two travelers are over the limit, they usually can split the cost of the overweight fee.
AGE LIMIT: The minimum age for a passenger on this tour is just 3 months. Infants can safely travel in the arms of their parents. There is no maximum age for this tour, but elderly travelers may wish to consult with their doctor.
PLACES WE DON’T PICK UP: Some of the hotels in Nazca are located on roads that are not suitable for our vehicles. For these locations, we’ll schedule a taxi and charge you an additional fee of $10 USD per person applies This is for pickups at Hotel Majoro, Hotel Marcelo, and a few others.
