This is the fastest and easiest way to see the Nazca Lines from Lima in just one day. Your flight takes off from Pisco airport, avoiding the exhausting drive to Nazca airport. Your driver and English-speaking guide will pick you up at your hotel in Lima, for a three hour journey along the coast to Pisco airport.
There, your guide shares fascinating insights into the origins and mysteries of the Nazca Lines. Then it’s time to board a Cessna Grand Caravan, a safe and spacious turboprop aircraft with room for 12 passengers and two pilots. See 16 of the most famous Nazca geoglyphs, including the hummingbird, dog, hands, astronaut, tree, spider, whale, lizard, and more.
After an exciting 95-minute flight — including 32 minutes directly over the Lines — you’ll land back in Pisco.
Then we’ll head to the desert oasis Huacachina to climb onto your dune buggy.
Feel the rush as your driver powers up and down towering golden dunes, some as high as 500 feet. The ride is part rollercoaster, part safari — an unforgettable surge of speed and sand that ends with panoramic views of the desert stretching endlessly in every direction. You are welcome to try the extraordinary activity of sandboarding. When weather conditions are ideal and there isn’t too much air traffic on the route from Pisco to Nazca, the pilot may fly over three sets of the intriguing Palpa Lines including a set of figures believed to represent a royal family.
