LEARN FROM AN EXPERT, AND THEN FLY
This tour follows the same route as the Classic Nazca Lines Flight, with added support from a friendly local expert. Your guide picks you up, helps with the airport process, and gives a historical chat about the origins and mysteries of the geoglyphs before you board.
The earliest flights start around 9:20 AM, and this is the best time of day to fly. Visibility is good and turbulence is usually low. Flights are also available in the late morning and early afternoon, if the weather is good and there are enough passengers.
From July 15 to August 31, this tour is $105 USD per person, plus airport taxes.Minimum: 2 travelers.
“The flight is more powerful when you understand what you are looking at. A little context turns strange desert marks into one of the great mysteries of ancient Peru.”“The flight is more powerful when the figures have context. Your guide helps you recognize the Monkey, Hummingbird, Spider, and other ancient designs before they appear beneath the wings.”

The co-pilot announces each figure in English and Spanish so travelers on both sides of the aircraft know when and where to look. Before you board, your guide helps prepare you for the experience so the figures make more sense when they appear below.
Morning flights usually offer smoother air and better visibility over the desert.
Your guide gives a historical briefing before the flight, so the geoglyphs feel less abstract once you are in the air.
