Flying over the Nazca Lines from Pisco has become become a popular choice for visitors, because it takes 3 hours and 15 minutes to get from Lima to Pisco airport, compared to 6 hours to travel from Lima to Nazca airport!
From your window seat on a Cessna Grand Caravan aircraft, spot 16 of the most-famous geoglyphs including the Monkey, the Condor, the “Astronaut”, the Hands, the Tree, the Spider, and many other favorites!
You’ll never forget the moment that you spot the magnificent Nazca Lines Hummingbird geoglyph, stretching across the rocky desert floor, untouched for more than a thousand years.
When weather conditions are ideal and there isn’t too much air traffic on the route from Pisco to Nazca, the pilot may fly over five intriguing Palpa Lines. Although this special bonus isn’t always possible, it’s definitely an exciting addition to the tour when conditions allow.
THE NIGHT BEFORE YOUR FLIGHT
Around 6:00 PM on the evening before your tour, we will let you know what time you will be picked up, and what our scheduled check-in time is. It is not possible for travelers to reserve an exact time, but if they have a preference, we will inform the airline. Flights depart between 8:00 AM and 3:30 PM.
THE DAY OF YOUR NAZCA LINES FLIGHT
We’ll pick you up from your hotel in Paracas or Pisco, or from the bus station in Paracas, and transfer you 15 minutes to the north, to the airport in Pisco. There, please show your passports, and pay the airport tax of 70 soles per person in cash. Everyone will be weighed.
Finally, it is time to step aboard the Cessna Grand Caravan. During the flight, the co-pilot will point out each figure. The flight is 95 minutes, including 32 minutes over the geoglyphs. After your flight, we’ll transport you back to your hotel.
WEIGHT LIMIT : travelers that weigh more than 120 kg (265 pounds) must pay an additional fee of $165 USD.
AGE LIMIT: Minimum is 2 years, and there is no maximum age.
