A Journey Along
the Mysterious Coast
This private three-day journey links the southern coast's signature experiences: Paracas National Reserve, Ballestas Islands, the Nazca Lines from Pisco, Ica wine country, and Huacachina's dunes.
It is a deep and immersive route, designed for travelers who want the region to unfold at a relaxed pace so that they can savor the top attractions on Peru's desert coast.
Please book far in advance whenever possible. Availability is very limited in Pisco.
The Southern Coast, Given the Time it Deserves
Your friendly English-speaking guide picks you up in Lima for the southbound drive along the Pan-American Highway. In Ica, visit wineries and distilleries to sample wine and pisco and learn centuries-old traditions, then continue to Huacachina's vast dunes before overnighting in Paracas. The next day brings the Nazca Lines flight from Pisco Airport and Paracas National Reserve; on the final morning, the Ballestas Islands boat tour closes the journey before returning to Lima.
The flight lasts about 95 minutes aboard a modern Cessna Grand Caravan, with roughly 32 minutes over the geoglyphs and a window seat for every traveler.
