This private road trip to Nazca includes several popular excursions: the Ballestas Islands boat tour, a dune buggy ride (and sandboarding opportunity) at Huacachina oasis, and a classic flight over the Nazca Lines from Nazca airport.
This is a budget-friendlier tour package, with an overnight stay in Nazca, ideal for travelers who do not mind driving all the way to Nazca in exchange for a less expensive but high quality experience of the coast.
A Road Trip Through the Desert Coast
Your friendly tour guide will pick you up in Lima, and then we'll head out southbound on the Panamerican highway. Our journey takes us along the ocean and then through the desert. Begin with the Ballestas Islands boat tour, continue to Huacachina for dune buggy and sandboarding, then sleep in Nazca before flying over the geoglyphs the next morning.
The Nazca Lines flight departs from Maria Reiche Airport aboard a Cessna 207. The flight lasts about 35 minutes, including roughly 32 minutes over the geoglyphs.
