The Nazca Lines flight from Paracas is one of the most popular and well-reviewed tours that we offer. You’ll never forget the moment that you spot the magnificent Nazca Lines Hummingbird geoglyph, stretching across the rocky desert floor, untouched for more than a thousand years.
From your window seat on a Cessna Grand Caravan aircraft, spot 16 of the most-famous geoglyphs including the Monkey, the Condor, the “Astronaut”, the Hands, the Tree, the Spider, and many other favorites! The Nazca Lines must be seen from the air to truly appreciate their size and dramatic location.
When weather conditions are ideal, the pilot may fly over three Palpa Lines. These geoglyphs located 80 kilometers north of Nazca, and many are in the form of human beings, including some figures believed to represent a royal family.
Drive from downtown Paracas to Nazca Airport: 3 hours and 10 minutes
We’ll pick you up from your hotel in Paracas, or from the bus station in Paracas, and transfer you 15 minutes away to the airport. There, please show your passports, and pay the airport tax of 70 soles per person in cash. Everyone will be weighed.
Finally, it is time to step aboard the Cessna Grand Caravan to start your adventure! During the flight, the pilots will name each figure as the airplane flies over. The duration of the flight is 95 minutes, including 35 minutes over the Nazca Lines.
After your thrilling flight is over, the airplane lands at Paracas airport and we’ll transport you back to your hotel or pickup location.
WHAT TIME WILL MY FLIGHT BEGIN? CAN I CHOOSE THE FLIGHT TIME?
Flights depart between 8:00 AM and 3:30 PM. The airline assigns flight times, but we’ll do our best to honor your preferred time. Pickup details are confirmed the evening before the flight. Flexibility is appreciated, and weather or air traffic can cause delays.

At 6:00 PM on the evening before your flight, we’ll let you know the exact pickup time for your tour, and our check-in time at the airport.
IS IT CALLED PISCO AIRPORT OR PARACAS AIRPORT ?
We know its confusing but these are two different names for the same airport! 
The Nazca Lines flights will depart from Capitán FAP Renán Elías Olivera Airport, located about 20 minutes north of Paracas which is about 6 minutes west of Pisco. Some travel agencies call it “Paracas Airport” because it’s the closest airport to Paracas and serves all the visitors staying there. But rest assured—it’s the same airport.
WEIGHT LIMIT : For passenger safety, travelers weighing more than 120 kg (265 pounds) may be asked to pay an additional fee of $165 USD.
AGE LIMIT: Minimum is 2 years, and there is no maximum age.
TALL TRAVELERS WELCOME: Don’t let small airplanes cramp your style. The seats on the Cessna Grand Caravan are larger than the seats on the small Cessnas in Nazca. Fly comfortable!
