Classic Nasca Lines Flight

The Nasca Lines are one of South America's greatest archaeological mysteries, an enigma that remains unsolved to this day. We know that the Nasca Lines are geoglyphs - huge lines drawn in the desert sand, in the form of animals, plants, and geometric shapes. We know they were created by members of the Nazca culture, between years of 400 and 650 AD. We don't know why or how they were created and perhaps never will.

The classic flight over the Nasca Lines is one of the most famous tours in Peru, and the reason that most people come to Nasca: visitors climb into a small Cessna airplane and fly over the Nasca Lines at an altitude of several thousand feet. The flight lasts about 35 minutes and you will have time to appreciate all of the major lines, including the monkey, spaceman, condor, whale, etc. Onboard our flights, every passenger has a window.

At the end of your flight, you will be transported back to your hotel or bus terminal in Nasca.

Health and Well-being Notice: This tour is one of the most popular tours in Peru, but it is important to note the following: tourists who are mildly sensitive to motion sickness or flight sickness are encouraged to purchase medications or patches to prevent nauseua and discomfort during the flight. Many pharmacies in Ica, Nasca, and Lima sell these pills. Tourists who are highly sensitive to motion sickness or flight sickness should strongly consider NOT doing this tour, as it is quite possible you will not enjoy yourself.

Explore the Alternatives:

If you want to treat yourself to something really special, consider taking a multi-destination flight. This will allow you to see not only the Nasca Lines, but also the Palpa Lines and the Cantalloc aqueducts. If you realize you won't have time to visit Nasca, don't forget you can also see the Nasca Lines from Ica (which is just 4 hours from Lima). We would be happy to offer you a package tour which includes transportation in private car or by bus.
